After completing the game and achieving the 'good' ending, you unlock New Game +. This allows you to start a new playthrough while carrying over certain aspects from your previous save file.
What Carries Over:
- Soma's Level: You retain your current level and stats.
- Souls: All collected souls (Bullet, Guardian, Enchant, Ability) are carried over.
- Equipment: All weapons, armor, and accessories are retained.
- Gold: Your accumulated money carries over.
- Play Time: Your total play time continues to accumulate.
What Does NOT Carry Over:
- Key Items: Story-specific key items are reset.
- Map Progress: The map is reset to unexplored.
- Shop Inventory: Hammer's shop inventory resets to its initial state.
New Game + is an excellent way to experience the game again with all your powerful abilities from the start, allowing for faster progression, easier soul farming, and the opportunity to tackle challenges like Boss Rush with a fully powered Soma. It's also necessary for unlocking Julius Mode.
