The Town of Brahm serves as a critical strategic hub for players preparing for the endgame. Located beyond the Jam Wasteland, this town is the gateway to the Laruba Mansion and your primary source for high-level equipment necessary for the final stretch of your journey.

Key Activities and Acquisitions

  • Purchase the Golden Knife: Locate the merchant in the upper-right section of town. For 125 Hearts, you can buy the Golden Knife, which travels cross-screen and is highly effective against the bosses ahead.
  • Acquire Garlic: If you are low on supplies, Brahm is an ideal place to restock. Garlic is essential for revealing hidden merchants and distracting certain graveyard enemies.
  • Crucial Tip: While the town itself does not house a piece of Dracula, it is the staging ground for Laruba Mansion, located to the east. In that mansion, you will find Dracula’s Ring and the Laurels (given by the Ferryman if you possess the Heart), which are required to reach the final areas.

Navigation and Clues

In Brahm, an NPC provides a vital clue regarding the Ferryman: "Take my Garlic and Silver Knife and go to the lake." This hints at the sequence required to unlock the path to the final body parts. Ensure you have the Silk Bag (acquired earlier in the game) to increase your carrying capacity before venturing further east toward the Mansion sites.
