Stage 2: Forest of Silence (Path A - Grant)
Following the treacherous battle with the Bone Dragon in Stage 1, players face their first major branching path. Choosing the upper route leads into the eerie Forest of Silence, a stage uniquely designed to test your platforming prowess and introduce you to the agile warrior, Grant Danasty. This section focuses on precise jumps, avoiding environmental hazards, and preparing for Grant's eventual recruitment.
While the Forest of Silence focuses on verticality, its dense atmosphere and shifting platforms predate the multi-directional scrolling and acrobatic mobility later refined in Castlevania: Bloodlines.
