The Kalidus Channel is a water-filled area that requires careful navigation. You'll encounter new aquatic enemies and environmental puzzles involving water currents. The Volaticus Glyph, which allows you to fly for a short duration, becomes incredibly useful here, though it's not strictly required for initial progression. The primary goal is to traverse the channel and reach the Tymeo Mountains. The Tymeo Mountains are a rugged, vertical area with many ledges and platforms. Expect to use your Magnes Glyph extensively to navigate the treacherous terrain. New enemies include Harpies, Stone Roses, and various armored knights. Be on the lookout for hidden passages and breakable walls, as these areas often contain valuable items or shortcuts. The Tymeo Mountains also lead to the next major boss encounter and another villager rescue.
