After the events at the Monastery, your path leads you through Oblivion Ridge and into the lush Ruvas Forest. These areas introduce a wider variety of enemies and environmental hazards. Oblivion Ridge is a relatively short, outdoor area that connects the Monastery to the rest of the world. Be wary of the flying enemies and archers. Ruvas Forest, on the other hand, is a sprawling, multi-layered area with many hidden paths and secrets. You'll encounter new enemy types such as Axe Knights, Flea Men, and various plant-based monsters. The primary goal in Ruvas Forest is to locate the entrance to the next major area, the Kalidus Channel, and to rescue the first villager. Exploration is key here, as many valuable items and Glyphs can be found off the main path. Keep an eye out for breakable walls and suspicious-looking platforms.
