Unlike some modern games, Rondo of Blood features a more traditional save system. Your progress is automatically saved after completing a stage. If you get a Game Over, you will restart at the beginning of the current stage you were on, or at the last stage you completed if you ran out of continues. There are no mid-stage save points. This design encourages careful play and mastery of each stage. complete a stage fully to ensure your progress is recorded before turning off your console.
