How to Beat Dracula

Defeat Dracula in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night's Reverse Castle Keep. Utilize the Crissaegrim and Soul Steal spell for this challenging, multi-phase boss.

·Multi-source verified (121/121)

Location: Reverse Castle Keep (Inverted Castle)

Recommended Level: 55+

Recommended Equipment:

  • Weapon: Crissaegrim, Valmanway, Sword of Dawn
  • Shield: Alucard Shield
  • Sub-Weapon: Holy Water, Cross
  • Spells: Soul Steal, Tetra Spirit
  • Consumables: Elixirs, High Potions (plenty!)

Strategy:

Phase 1 (Humanoid Form): Dracula will appear in his classic human form. He teleports around the arena, casts fireballs, and uses a powerful Hellfire attack (three fireballs that spread). Stay aggressive, but be ready to backdash and jump to avoid his attacks. When he teleports, try to anticipate his next location and get a few hits in. The Crissaegrim or Valmanway will make short work of this phase. Use Holy Water or Cross for extra damage.

Phase 2 (Giant Demonic Beast): After taking enough damage, Dracula transforms into a massive, grotesque demon. This form has powerful physical attacks (claws, tail swipe), a laser beam from his mouth, and can summon meteors from the ceiling. His weak point is his head. Use your Bat form to fly up and hit him, and your Wolf form for quick dodges. The Soul Steal spell is incredibly effective here, hitting multiple times and healing you. Keep moving to avoid his ground attacks and the meteors. This is the final battle, so use all your best items and strategies. Don't be afraid to use Elixirs if your health gets low. Persistence and careful dodging are key.

Reward: The true ending of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night!
