Strategy:
Phase 1 (Slogra & Gaibon): Focus on Slogra first. He's the spear-wielding demon on the ground. Gaibon, the flying demon, will mostly stay in the air, occasionally swooping down or spitting fireballs. Use your shield to block Gaibon's fireballs. When Slogra lunges, backdash to avoid him, then get in a few hits. Holy Water is very effective against Slogra if you can land it. Keep moving to avoid being cornered. If Gaibon swoops, jump over him or backdash.
Phase 2 (Gaibon Alone): Once Slogra is defeated, Gaibon becomes enraged, glowing red. His attacks become faster and more aggressive. He will frequently perform a powerful fire breath attack and faster swooping charges. The key here is to bait his swooping attack. Stand on the ground, wait for him to commit to a dive, then jump and attack him as he recovers. Use your double jump to get extra hits in. Continue to use Holy Water if you have hearts. Stay patient and prioritize dodging over aggressive attacking in this phase.
