The Phantom Bat is a larger, more aggressive version of the Vampire Bat. It flies around the room, occasionally swooping down to attack. Its main difference is that it can also summon smaller bats to harass Simon. The room is also filled with Medusa Heads, making dodging even more challenging. The best strategy is to use the Axe or Holy Water, especially if you have the Double or Triple Shot. Position yourself in the center of the room and throw your sub-weapon as the Phantom Bat flies overhead or descends. When it summons smaller bats, try to clear them quickly with your whip or a well-placed sub-weapon. Focus on avoiding contact with the boss and its projectiles. The Stopwatch can also be used to freeze the boss, allowing for a few free hits, but it consumes a lot of hearts. Patience and precise dodging are key to victory.
