Queen Medusa is a challenging boss due to her petrifying gaze and constant barrage of Medusa Heads. She floats back and forth across the top of the screen, occasionally dropping down to Simon's level. Her primary attack is a wave of small Medusa Heads that fly out from her. The most dangerous attack is her petrifying gaze, indicated by her eyes glowing. If you are caught in this gaze, Simon will be temporarily frozen, making him vulnerable to other attacks. The best strategy is to use the Holy Water. Throw it on the ground where she is about to descend; the flame pillar will deal continuous damage. If you have the Double Shot or Triple Shot, the Holy Water becomes incredibly potent. Otherwise, time your whip attacks carefully, striking her head when she is low enough. Prioritize dodging the Medusa Heads and her petrifying gaze above all else. Stay mobile and avoid getting cornered.
