Before facing Dracula, you must defeat his loyal servant, Death. Death floats around the room, summoning Sickles that fly in various patterns. He is invulnerable to damage until he finishes his summoning animation. The key is to dodge the Sickles and attack Death's head when he is vulnerable. The Axe sub-weapon is incredibly effective here, as it can hit Death's head from a safe distance while he is high up. The Holy Water can also work if you time it to hit him as he descends. The Sickles are numerous and can be difficult to avoid; try to find safe spots between their patterns. If you have the Stopwatch, it can freeze Death, allowing you to get several free hits, but it's very heart-intensive. Focus on dodging and striking when the opportunity arises. This is a battle of endurance and pattern recognition.
