The Mana Storm is an elemental boss, a swirling vortex of natural energy, found in Brightwood Forest. It is highly mobile and uses wind and plant-based attacks.
Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1: Wind Blasts & Seed Projectiles: Mana Storm unleashes powerful wind blasts and fires sharp seeds.
- Phase 2: Vine Traps (Mid HP): It summons thorny vines from the ground that can trap you.
- Phase 3: Tornado Summons (Low HP): Near defeat, it summons smaller tornadoes that move independently.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
The Mana Storm is a wind-elemental boss, making it potentially weak to earth-elemental magic, though some sources suggest fire can also be effective. Ranged attacks with your Bow are highly effective due to its mobility. If using melee, use quick bursts of Sword attacks after its wind blasts or seed volleys, then retreat. The Flail's focused attack can sometimes pull it closer. Quickly break free from vine traps using your sword or flail. Focus on the main boss while avoiding the smaller tornadoes. Defeating Mana Storm completes Chapter 5. Achieving a Gold Rank here can reward Flick with the Muramasa Blade.
