Thaydol (Fiery Sands of Jadd)

Thaydol is a fire-elemental boss in the Fiery Sands of Jadd, known for its ranged attacks and summoning abilities. This boss can be very challenging without proper preparation.

Phases & Attacks:

  • Phase 1: Fireball Volleys & Minions: Thaydol launches multiple fireballs and summons small fire elementals.
  • Phase 2: Ground Eruptions (Mid HP): It causes localized ground eruptions that deal fire damage.
  • Phase 3: Retreat & Recharge (Low HP): Thaydol may become temporarily invulnerable while recharging or summoning more powerful minions.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

Thaydol is a fire-elemental boss, making it weak to water-elemental magic. The Bow and Arrow is absolutely crucial for this fight. If you are using the default bow, you will only deal 1 damage. It is highly recommended to equip an Iron Bow or better, which can deal around 20 damage per hit. Stay at a medium distance, constantly moving to avoid fireballs and eruptions. Use focused bow shots when Thaydol is stationary. Prioritize eliminating summoned minions to prevent being overwhelmed. If you have a water-elemental spirit, its magic will be very effective. This fight is a test of ranged combat and patience. Defeating Thaydol completes Chapter 3 and unlocks the Hammer weapon type.
