Xangar (Mana Tower)

Xangar is the first boss you encounter, located at the end of the Mana Tower. It's a stationary enemy designed to introduce you to boss mechanics.

Phases & Attacks:

  • Phase 1: Projectile Barrage: Xangar fires multiple slow-moving projectiles in a wide arc. These are easily dodged by moving horizontally across the arena.
  • Phase 2: Ground Slam (Low HP): As its health decreases, Xangar will occasionally perform a ground slam, creating a small shockwave around it. This has a visible wind-up, allowing you to move away.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

Xangar has no specific elemental weakness, but it is vulnerable to consistent physical damage. Your Short Sword is your primary weapon here. The key is to stay mobile, dodging its projectiles, and then closing in to attack after it completes an attack sequence. Land a few hits, then retreat to avoid its next attack. Focused sword attacks can deal good damage, but prioritize consistent hits and avoiding damage. Use Gumdrops if your HP drops. This fight is a test of basic dodging and timing. The reward for defeating Xangar is the completion of Chapter 1 and the unlocking of the Flail weapon type.
