The Elder's Plea begins in the humble village of Oakhaven, where the elder, a wise but frail figure, implores you to aid your community. The village is in dire straits, facing dwindling resources and the encroaching darkness. Your first task is to venture into the nearby Whispering Woods, a relatively safe area, to gather 5 Sunpetal Blooms. These glowing flowers are vital for healing poultices. Follow the marked path out of the village; the blooms are easily identifiable by their soft, golden luminescence and are typically found near clearings or ancient trees. Once you have collected the required blooms, return to the Elder. He will then task you with a secondary objective: to retrieve a lost heirloom, the Amulet of Protection, from a small, abandoned shrine just beyond the woods. This shrine is guarded by a few low-level creatures, such as Gloomlings. Defeat them and claim the amulet. Upon your return to Oakhaven with both the blooms and the amulet, the Elder will express his gratitude and officially recognize you as a protector of the village, unlocking further quests and access to the village's blacksmith and merchant.
