Star Lake, Topple introduces areas with water and gaps that require the Flail to traverse. The Flail's focused attack allows you to throw it out in a straight line. You can use this to:
- Retrieve items: Grab items that are out of reach across water or gaps.
- Pull yourself: Aim at walls or heavier obstacles to pull your character across gaps. This is essential for reaching certain areas and Gleamdrops.
- Pull enemies: Drag enemies closer to you, or pull them out of hiding spots.
Practice using the Flail's focused attack to navigate the environment. Its basic attack, a spinning twirl, is excellent for knocking back groups of enemies if you get surrounded. New enemies like aquatic creatures and plant-based monsters will appear. Keep an eye on the map for Gleamdrop locations, which might be hidden in lily pads or underwater plants. After completing this chapter, you can access the Haunted House by visiting Moti's house and finding a shining object near the fireplace, then taking it to Moti.
