Boss Name: Thaydol

Thaydol is a large, fire-elemental boss that relies heavily on ranged attacks and summoning fire-based minions. This boss is notoriously difficult if you don't have an upgraded bow.
- Phase 1: Fireball Volleys & Minions: Thaydol will launch multiple fireballs and summon small fire elementals. Prioritize dodging the fireballs and eliminating the minions quickly, as they can overwhelm you.
- Phase 2: Ground Eruptions (Mid HP): As its health decreases, Thaydol will cause localized ground eruptions that deal fire damage. Watch for visual cues on the ground to avoid these.
- Phase 3: Retreat & Recharge (Low HP): Thaydol may retreat to a corner of the arena, becoming temporarily invulnerable while it recharges or summons more powerful minions. Use this time to heal or prepare your next attack.
Strategy: The Bow and Arrow is your primary weapon for this fight. If you are using the default bow, you will likely only deal 1 damage per hit. It is absolutely crucial to equip a stronger bow, such as an Iron Bow, which can deal around 20 damage per hit. Stay at a medium distance, constantly moving to avoid fireballs and eruptions. Use focused bow shots when Thaydol is stationary or recovering. If you have a water-elemental spirit, its magic can be very effective. Keep your distance and chip away at its health. This fight is a test of patience and ranged combat proficiency.
Reward: Completion of Chapter 3, unlocks the Hammer weapon type. More elemental subquests become available.
