The Ruins of Illusia Isle are home to undead and spectral enemies, many of whom are resistant to physical attacks or can inflict curses and other status ailments. Equipping a light or dark-elemental spirit can be beneficial here. Some enemies may require specific weapon types or magic to defeat effectively. The ruins are often dark and contain crumbling architecture, hidden passages, and pressure plate traps. Use your Hammer to break weakened walls or activate mechanisms. Your Flail can be useful for pulling yourself across gaps or retrieving items from precarious ledges. Gleamdrops might be hidden within sarcophagi or behind illusory walls. Be prepared for ambushes and ensure you have plenty of Pep Roots to cure status effects. The Haunted House, if unlocked earlier, provides a thematic connection to this area.
