Crono's journey begins with a chance encounter with Marle at the fair, leading to a mishap with Lucca's teleportation device. This incident catapults him through time, initiating his involvement in a grand adventure that spans millennia. Despite his quiet nature, Crono quickly becomes the anchor of the party, inspiring his companions through his bravery and selflessness.

In combat, Crono is a well-rounded physical attacker. He wields a sword with proficiency and is adept at using lightning-based Techs. His sature Techs, such as Cyclone and Lightning 2, provide reliable damage against single targets. He also has access to powerful Dual and Triple Techs, often involving his closest friends.

One of Crono's most significant contributions is his ability to perform devastating combined Techs. His X-Strike with Frog, Volt Tackle with Robo, and the ultimate Chrono Trigger with Lucca and Lavos (in certain endings) showcase his versatility and the importance of party synergy.
