Mastering the unique Techs and magical abilities of your party is crucial for success in Chrono Trigger. Each character possesses a distinct set of skills, and combining them through Dual and Triple Techs can unleash devastating attacks. Understanding elemental affinities and character roles will help you optimize your combat strategy and overcome even the toughest foes.
Chrono Trigger features a robust magic system powered by Elements. These Elements are categorized by their elemental type (Fire, Water, Lightning, Shadow, etc.) and can be equipped to characters to grant them new abilities. The power of these Elements often scales with the character's Magic stat. Beyond individual spells, characters can combine their innate Techs to perform powerful Dual Techs and Triple Techs, often requiring specific character pairings and sufficient Tech Points (TP) to execute. Learning which Techs complement each other is key to maximizing your party's offensive and defensive capabilities.
