Single Techs

Single Techs are the fundamental special abilities that each character in Chrono Trigger possesses. These unique skills are learned as characters gain experience and level up, forming the core of their combat effectiveness. Mastering these individual abilities is crucial before delving into the more complex Dual and Triple Techs.

Each character in Chrono Trigger has a distinct set of Single Techs that reflect their personality, background, and role within the party. These Techs consume Tech Points (TP) to use and are essential for dealing damage, healing allies, or inflicting status effects. Understanding when and how to use each character's Single Techs is a key aspect of combat strategy.

Lucca	Fire Beam	Deals fire damage to multiple enemies in a line.
Robo	Robo Toss	A physical attack that hits one enemy.
Robo	Debug	Removes status ailments from one ally.
Frog	Slurp Cut	A physical attack that hits one enemy.
Frog	Frog Squash	A powerful physical attack that hits one enemy.
Ayla	Triple Kick	Hits one enemy multiple times with kicks.

As characters level up, they will learn new and more powerful Single Techs. Some characters have Techs that are particularly effective against certain enemy types or bosses.
