Your first few turns are critical for establishing a strong foundation. Upon landing, immediately found your first city. Prioritize settling near strategic resources like Firaxite, Titanium, or Geothermal vents, as these will be vital for advanced technologies and unit upgrades later on. Send your Explorer unit out to uncover the map, revealing resource locations, alien nests, and potential sites for future cities. Prioritize exploring areas with Miasma, as clearing it can yield valuable resources or reveal ancient alien artifacts. Use your initial Worker to improve a tile that provides either Food or Production, depending on your immediate needs. Building a Basic Generator for Energy or a Habitation Dome for population growth are excellent early choices. Be mindful of alien lifeforms; while some are passive, others can be aggressive. Avoid provoking them unnecessarily in the early game.
