The Contact victory, achieved through building The Beacon, is a universal victory condition not tied to a specific Affinity. It requires you to research the 'Orbital Automation' technology and discover a certain number of alien artifacts through exploration and excavation. Once these conditions are met, you can begin construction of The Beacon Wonder. This massive communication array is designed to establish contact with an ancient alien civilization. The construction process is lengthy and resource-intensive, making it a prime target for rival Sponsors. A strong defensive force is crucial to protect The Beacon. Once completed, you must then defend it for a set number of turns while it broadcasts its message. Successfully maintaining The Beacon until contact is made will grant you a Contact victory.
