Alien Nests are a constant presence on the alien world, and how you manage them can have significant consequences. Early game, it's often best to avoid provoking them, as their inhabitants can be formidable. However, as your military grows, you can choose to either destroy them for resources or attempt to pacify them, especially if you're pursuing the Harmony Affinity. Destroying a nest will yield a burst of Xenomass, a strategic resource vital for Harmony units and technologies. Pacifying a nest (often through specific Harmony technologies and unit abilities) can turn the aliens into allies, preventing them from attacking your units and cities. Some quests might even require you to clear a specific alien nest. Always assess your military strength before engaging a nest, as they can spawn multiple powerful alien units.
