Strategic Resources are vital for building advanced units, Wonders, and certain buildings. Unlike basic resources (Food, Production, Energy, Science, Culture), Strategic Resources are finite and must be discovered and improved. The primary Strategic Resources are Firaxite (for advanced energy technologies and Supremacy units), Titanium (for powerful military units and Purity structures), and Xenomass (for Harmony units and Miasma-related technologies). Other resources like Geothermal and Petroleum also provide significant bonuses. Securing access to these resources is paramount. Build an Extractor or Mine on these tiles using a Worker to begin harvesting them. Trade with other Sponsors for resources you lack, or be prepared to go to war to secure them. Your Affinity will dictate which strategic resources are most critical for your victory condition.
