At TH1, your only troop is the Barbarian. The tutorial will walk you through your first attack against a Goblin Camp. Simply deploy your Barbarians to destroy the enemy's structures. Focus on taking out resource buildings to gain loot. This teaches you the basic mechanics of troop deployment.
