Clans: Your Social Hub
Clans are the cornerstone of Clash Royale's social experience, offering a vibrant community where You can connect, strategize, and grow together. Joining a Clan unlocks a wealth of features that enhance your gameplay and provide valuable resources.
Joining or Creating a Clan
To access Clan features, navigate to the Clan tab located at the bottom of your main game screen. Here, you have two primary options:
- Join a Clan:
- Search: Use the search bar to find specific Clans by name or tag.
- Recommended Clans: The game will suggest Clans based on your trophy count and region.
- Filters: You can filter Clans by required trophies, Clan War participation, and location to find the perfect fit.
- Request to Join: For "Invite Only" Clans, you'll send a request that the Clan leader or co-leaders must approve. "Open" Clans allow instant entry.
- Create a Clan:
- Cost: Creating a Clan typically costs 1000 Gold.
- Customization: You'll need to choose a Clan Name, a Clan Badge, set the required Trophy count for entry, and write a description to attract members.
- Privacy: Decide if your Clan will be "Open," "Invite Only," or "Closed."
Clan Benefits and Activities
Once you're part of a Clan, a new world of cooperative gameplay opens up:
- Card Requests and Donations:
- Requesting Cards: Every 7 hours, you can request specific Common, Rare, or Epic cards from your Clanmates. This is a crucial way to level up your favorite cards without relying solely on Chests.
- Donating Cards: Fulfill your Clanmates' requests by donating cards. This earns you Gold and Star Points (for max-level cards), and contributes to your Clan's overall activity. Donating is a quick and easy way to earn resources.
- Friendly Battles:
- Practice and Experiment: Challenge your Clanmates to friendly 1v1 or 2v2 battles without losing or gaining trophies. This is the ideal environment to test new decks, practice strategies, and learn from experienced players.
- Initiating a Battle: In the Clan chat, tap the "Friendly Battle" button to send a challenge. Your Clanmates can then accept.
- Clan Wars:
- Team Competition: Clan Wars are a weekly event where your Clan competes against other Clans for rewards.
- Collection Day: Participate in various game modes (e.g., 2v2 battles, Sudden Death challenges) to earn "Collection Day" cards, which are used to build your War Decks.
- War Day: Use your specially crafted War Decks to battle opponents from other Clans. Each win contributes to your Clan's overall score.
- Rewards: Successful Clan War participation yields significant rewards, including Gold, Trade Tokens, and Chests, making it a vital activity for progression.
- Clan Chat:
- Communication Hub: The Clan chat is where you can communicate with your Clanmates, coordinate strategies, share replays, and simply socialize.
- Emotes and Stickers: Express yourself using in-game emotes and stickers within the chat.
Friends List: Direct Connections
Beyond Clans, Clash Royale allows you to directly connect with individual players through your Friends List. This feature is perfect for keeping up with close allies and rivals.
Adding Friends
There are several ways to expand your Friends List:
- Player Profile: After a battle, you can visit your opponent's profile and tap the "Add Friend" button.
- Share Link: In your own profile, you can generate a unique "Share Link" that you can send to friends outside the game. When they click it, they'll be prompted to add you.
- Supercell ID: If you and your friends are connected via Supercell ID, they will automatically appear on your Clash Royale Friends List.
Friends List Features
Your Friends List offers personalized interactions:
- Friendly Battles: Just like in Clans, you can challenge any friend on your list to a 1v1 or 2v2 friendly battle. This is excellent for focused practice with a known opponent.
- Spectate: Watch your friends' live battles to learn new tactics or simply cheer them on.
- Direct Messaging: While Clash Royale doesn't have a direct private messaging system within the app for individual friends, you can coordinate through external platforms or use the in-game friendly battle feature as a form of interaction.
Leaderboards: Prove Your Mettle
The Leaderboards are where the best of the best are recognized. They provide a competitive overview of player and Clan performance across various metrics.
Accessing Leaderboards
You can find the Leaderboards by tapping the Leaderboards icon (often represented by a trophy or crown) on the main game screen.
Types of Leaderboards
- Global Leaderboard: Displays the top players worldwide based on their current trophy count. Aim for the top to earn bragging rights and recognition.
- Local Leaderboard: Shows the top players in your specific country or region.
- Clan Leaderboard: Ranks Clans globally and locally based on their total Clan Trophies, which are accumulated through Clan War performance. A high-ranking Clan often signifies strong teamwork and skilled players.
- Path of Legends Leaderboard: For players who have reached the Path of Legends, this leaderboard tracks their progress and ranking within this highly competitive seasonal system.
Regularly checking the Leaderboards can inspire you to improve your own game and see where you stand among the vast Clash Royale community.
