Early Game Foundations (Levels 1-10)
Your initial choices lay the groundwork for your entire playthrough. Focus on balanced growth to handle early encounters effectively.
- Attribute Allocation: Upon reaching Level 2, you'll gain your first attribute point. For most starting classes, prioritize Vigor for increased survivability and Dexterity for improved attack speed and evasion. A 2:1 ratio of Vigor to Dexterity is recommended for the first few levels.
- Initial Gear Acquisition:
- Rusty Blade: Found in the starting chest in the Forgotten Homestead. While basic, it's your primary damage source.
- Tattered Leather Vest: Dropped by the first few Skittering Spiders in the Whispering Woods. Provides a small but vital defense boost.
