The steps for completing "A Tangled Root" are as follows:

  1. Speak with Elder Rowan: Upon starting the game, you will be directed to speak with Elder Rowan in the center of Oakhaven. He will task you with investigating strange occurrences in the nearby woods.
  2. Gather Healing Herbs: Your first objective is to collect Sunleaf and Moonpetal from the outskirts of Oakhaven. These are found in small clusters near the village entrance and along the forest path.
  3. Investigate the Disturbance: Follow the path leading into the Whispering Woods. You will encounter aggressive boars and corrupted sprites. Use your basic attacks and dodge mechanics to defeat them.
  4. Locate the Source: The disturbance is emanating from a corrupted ancient tree. You'll need to navigate through a small section of the woods, possibly solving a simple environmental puzzle like clearing fallen logs or activating a small shrine.
  5. Confront the Blighted Sprites: At the corrupted tree, you will face a group of Blighted Sprites, the primary antagonists for this quest.
