The Verdant Dawn Ending (Good Ending)

This ending sees the land flourish, the ancient curse lifted, and a new era of peace ushered in. It requires a delicate balance of compassion, wisdom, and strategic resource management.

  • Chapter 1: The Whispering Woods
    • Item Acquisition: Locate the Sunstone Shard hidden within the hollow of the Great Oak. This requires solving the "Riddle of the Three Roots" given by the Elder Willow.
    • Key Decision: When confronted by the Glimmering Sprite in the Moonpetal Glade, choose to "Offer the Dewdrop of Serenity" (found in the Abandoned Well). Do NOT attempt to capture it.
  • Chapter 2: The Sunken City of Eldoria
    • Strategy: Navigate the submerged ruins by activating the three ancient pressure plates in the correct sequence: North, East, West. This will drain the central chamber.
    • Item Acquisition: Recover the Heart of Eldoria from the pedestal in the now-drained central chamber. Be wary of the Guardian Golem; a well-timed use of the Sunstone Shard will temporarily incapacitate it.
  • Chapter 3: The Obsidian Peaks
    • Key Decision: At the summit, when facing the Shadow Weaver, you must have both the Sunstone Shard and the Heart of Eldoria in your inventory. Choose the dialogue option: "Combine the ancient powers to dispel the gloom." This will initiate a unique mini-game where you must align the celestial constellations.
    • Reward: Unlocks the "Verdant Dawn" achievement and grants access to the New Game+ mode with enhanced starting gear.

The Eternal Twilight Ending (Neutral Ending)

This ending leaves the land in a state of perpetual twilight, neither fully cursed nor fully blessed. It's often achieved by players who prioritize personal gain or avoid difficult moral choices.

  • Chapter 1: The Whispering Woods
    • Item Acquisition: Ignore the Elder Willow's riddle. Instead, use the Rusty Pickaxe (found near the dilapidated shack) to force open the hollow of the Great Oak and retrieve the Sunstone Shard. This will slightly lower your "Compassion" stat.
    • Key Decision: When confronted by the Glimmering Sprite, choose to "Attempt to capture the sprite with the Enchanted Net" (purchased from the Wandering Merchant for 500 Gold). This will succeed but will not yield the same positive outcome as offering the dewdrop.
  • Chapter 2: The Sunken City of Eldoria
    • Strategy: Instead of solving the pressure plate puzzle, use the Explosive Charges (found in the Smuggler's Cove) to blast open a direct path to the central chamber. This will alert the Guardian Golem immediately.
    • Item Acquisition: Defeat the Guardian Golem in direct combat to retrieve the Heart of Eldoria. This is a challenging fight requiring strong combat stats and healing items.
  • Chapter 3: The Obsidian Peaks
    • Key Decision: At the summit, when facing the Shadow Weaver, you will have the Sunstone Shard and the Heart of Eldoria. Choose the dialogue option: "Use the artifacts to create a protective barrier around yourself." This will repel the Shadow Weaver but will not fully resolve the curse.
    • Reward: Unlocks the "Eternal Twilight" achievement and grants a unique "Shadow-Touched Amulet" with moderate stat bonuses.

The Desolate Abyss Ending (Bad Ending)

This ending plunges CloverPit into eternal darkness, a grim testament to failed heroism or outright malevolence. It's often the result of neglecting key objectives or making consistently negative choices.

  • Chapter 1: The Whispering Woods
    • Item Acquisition: Fail to acquire the Sunstone Shard. You can do this by ignoring the Great Oak entirely or by failing the riddle and not having the Rusty Pickaxe.
    • Key Decision: When confronted by the Glimmering Sprite, choose to "Flee in terror" or "Attack the sprite with your weapon." Both options will result in the sprite disappearing and a significant loss of "Hope" stat.
  • Chapter 2: The Sunken City of Eldoria
    • Strategy: Fail to acquire the Heart of Eldoria. This can be done by getting lost in the ruins, being defeated by the Guardian Golem, or simply leaving the area without retrieving it.
    • Consequence: The central chamber will remain flooded, and the Guardian Golem will become more aggressive in subsequent visits.
  • Chapter 3: The Obsidian Peaks
    • Key Decision: At the summit, when facing the Shadow Weaver, you will lack both the Sunstone Shard and the Heart of Eldoria. The only available dialogue option will be: "Succumb to the encroaching darkness."
    • Reward: Unlocks the "Desolate Abyss" achievement. This ending does not offer any post-game rewards or New Game+ benefits, serving as a stark warning.

Remember, your journey through CloverPit is your own. Experiment with choices, explore every nook and cranny, and embrace the consequences. Good luck, adventurer!
