This encounter takes place in the electrically charged arena of the Stormcaller's Sanctum. The True King wields a colossal lightning-infused greatsword and can unleash devastating area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. A key to victory lies in managing your stamina effectively, as prolonged dodging will quickly deplete your reserves, leaving you vulnerable to its swift, electrifying strikes. Prioritize learning the tells for its primary attacks: the sweeping horizontal slash, the overhead slam that leaves lingering electrical pools, and its sature "Thunderclap" charge. The Thunderclap is telegraphed by the True King raising its sword high and gathering energy; a well-timed dodge to the side or a parry can create a substantial opening for damage.
When the True King enters its enraged state, indicated by a crackling aura and intensified lightning effects, its attack speed and damage output increase dramatically. During this phase, focus on defensive maneuvers and only attack when a clear opportunity arises, such as after it completes a lengthy combo. Consider equipping Gifts that offer defensive buffs, like Iron Protection, or those that provide a burst of mobility, such as Swift Dash.
