For example, applying a status effect like 'Corrosion' with a basic Gift can significantly amplify the damage of subsequent elemental Gifts. A common and effective strategy involves using a Gift that inflicts 'Bleed,' such as 'Crimson Slash,' followed by a high-damage, multi-hit Gift like 'Storm of Blades.' The initial Bleed damage ticks away while Storm of Blades unleashes its fury, creating a potent damage-over-time and burst damage combination.
Consider the interplay between offensive and defensive Gifts.
