Your journey as a Revenant in Code Vein II begins with a crucial step: character creation. This initial phase allows you to define your protagonist's appearance and, more importantly, make foundational choices that will influence your early gameplay experience. Taking your time here can set you on a more advantageous path through the desolate world.
The visual customization options are extensive, allowing you to sculpt your Revenant's features, hairstyle, and attire. While these choices are primarily cosmetic, they contribute to the immersion of your character within the grim narrative. Pay attention to the details; a well-designed character can enhance your connection to the story and the world of Vein.
Beyond aesthetics, you will be prompted to select your starting Blood Code. This is arguably the most impactful decision you will make at the outset. Each Blood Code offers a unique set of starting Gifts and stat distributions, leaning towards different combat archetypes. For instance, the Stinger Blood Code is a balanced option, offering a mix of offensive and defensive Gifts suitable for beginners. The Caster, on the other hand, focuses on ranged magical attacks, making it ideal for players who prefer to keep their distance from enemies.
