The Oasis of Whispers serves as a crucial respite and a hub for vital information before venturing further into the corrupted lands. Upon entering, you'll encounter the enigmatic merchant, Silas, who offers a range of essential consumables like Blood Vials and Stimulants. His stock refreshes after certain story milestones, so revisit him regularly. The area is patrolled by a few passive Revenants, who will offer cryptic clues about the encroaching Blight if you engage them in conversation. Be wary of the shimmering pools scattered throughout the Oasis; while they appear tranquil, some are infused with residual Blight energy and can inflict the Corrosion status effect, reducing your maximum HP by 20% until cleansed with a Purifying Salve. To the north of the main plaza, you'll find a hidden alcove containing a Blood Code Fragment, which can be used to unlock new Blood Codes or upgrade existing ones at the Mistle. The primary objective here is to locate the Oracle, a spectral being who holds the key to navigating the treacherous path ahead. She can be found near the central fountain, guarded by two dormant Hollow Soldiers. Defeating them will awaken her and trigger the next phase of your journey. Remember to manage your Stamina carefully when engaging the soldiers, as their synchronized attacks can quickly overwhelm an unprepared Revenant.
