Phase 1: Blade & Blood
Juzo Mido is a highly aggressive and fast boss, wielding a large blade and utilizing blood-based Gifts. His attacks are quick, often involving multiple slashes, a dashing thrust, and a powerful blood projectile. He also has a grab attack that deals heavy damage. The key to this fight is precise dodging and parrying. His attacks are well-telegraphed but require quick reflexes. Try to stay behind him or to his sides to avoid his frontal attacks. He can also buff himself with 'Bridge to Glory', increasing his damage. If he does, try to outlast the buff or use defensive Gifts. Your companion will be crucial for drawing aggro and providing healing.
Phase 2: Unleashed Power
Once Mido's health drops to about 50%, he becomes even more relentless. He gains new, more powerful blood Gifts, including a large area-of-effect blood explosion and a series of tracking blood projectiles. His melee combos become longer and more unpredictable. This phase requires extreme vigilance. Consider using a Blood Veil with high blood resistance. Gifts that provide invincibility frames (like 'Shift') or quick movement can help you survive his onslaught. Don't be afraid to use all your resources.
