Blood Codes are the core of Code Vein's class system. Each Blood Code provides a unique set of base stats (HP, Stamina, Ichor, Strength, Dexterity, Mind, Willpower, Vitality, Fortitude) and a specific array of Gifts. You can switch Blood Codes at any Mistle, allowing you to adapt your playstyle on the fly. Mastering a Gift within a Blood Code makes it 'inheritable', meaning you can equip it regardless of your currently active Blood Code. This system encourages experimentation and allows for highly customized builds. There are three main archetypes: Strikers (melee-focused), Casters (Gift-focused), and Tanks/Supports (defensive/utility-focused). Many Blood Codes blend these archetypes, offering hybrid playstyles.
