The Depths are optional, challenging dungeons accessed via specific Mistle points. Each Depths map is a self-contained area with unique enemy layouts, environmental puzzles, and often a mini-boss or two. They are excellent for farming Haze, crafting materials, and finding rare equipment. To access a Depths map, you first need to find its corresponding 'Map' item in the main game world. Once acquired, interact with a Mistle and select the 'Go to Depths' option. Be prepared for tough encounters, as enemies in the Depths are often stronger than their counterparts in the main areas. Completing Depths maps often rewards you with unique Blood Veils, weapons, or powerful Gifts.
