Effective resource management is the backbone of any successful strategy in Red Alert 3. Your primary resource is Credits, which are gathered by Refineries built over Ore Mines. Each Refinery can support multiple Ore Collectors (Allies/Soviets) or Ore Gatherers (Empire) that automatically transport ore to the Refinery. It's crucial to protect your Refineries and Collectors, as they are vital for your economy. Expanding to new Ore Mines is essential for maintaining a strong income throughout the game.

The Power Grid is another critical aspect. Every production building, defensive structure, and advanced technology requires power. You generate power by building Power Plants (Allies/Soviets) or Generators (Empire). If your power output falls below your consumption, your production will slow down, and defensive structures will become inoperable. Always ensure you have a surplus of power, especially before constructing new buildings or engaging in large-scale production. Some advanced structures consume a significant amount of power, so plan your power plant placement strategically. Overbuilding power plants early can be a waste of resources, but underbuilding them can cripple your base. Finding the right balance is key to a stable economy and a functional base.
