Mold-1 is a grotesque, fungal entity found in the Mold Research area (side quest: 'Old Growth'). This boss fight takes place in a toxic environment. Phase 1: Mold-1 will extend tendrils that deal damage and create toxic pools. Stay on the higher platforms to avoid the ground-level toxins. Its weak points are the glowing orange sacs on its body. Use Pierce or Launch to destroy these. It will also spit toxic projectiles; use Shield to block them. Phase 2: As its health depletes, Mold-1 will become more aggressive, extending more tendrils and spitting more frequently. It may also summon Mold Hosts. Prioritize destroying the sacs and clearing any summoned enemies. Keep moving between platforms and utilize Levitate if you have it to gain a better vantage point. Reward: Ability Points and unique mods.
