Collectible & Exploration Trophies

The Oldest House is brimming with secrets, documents, and hidden locations. These trophies require thorough exploration and attention to detail.

Shifting Perspectives

This trophy requires you to find and cleanse 25 Control Points. Control Points are scattered throughout the Oldest House and act as fast travel locations and save points. Simply interact with them to cleanse them. Most will be encountered naturally during the main story and side missions, but some are in more out-of-the-way areas. Always look for the glowing red Hiss corruption around a Control Point to know it needs cleansing.

Bureau Archivist

To earn this, you must collect 100 Collectibles. Collectibles include Research & Records, Case Files, and Correspondence. They appear as glowing white documents or audio logs. They are often found on desks, shelves, or in hidden rooms. A good strategy is to thoroughly explore every room and corridor after clearing out Hiss forces. Pay special attention to areas that open up after completing missions or side quests. The in-game map will often highlight areas with uncollected items once you're close enough.

Master Parautilitarian

This trophy demands you find all Hidden Locations. There are several hidden locations across the various sectors of the Oldest House. These are often secret rooms, alternate paths, or areas accessible only by using specific abilities like Levitate or Launch. Keep an eye out for subtle environmental clues, such as cracks in walls, suspicious-looking vents, or areas that seem intentionally designed to be hard to reach. Many hidden locations contain valuable collectibles or crafting materials. Refer to a dedicated "Hidden Locations" guide for precise instructions on each one.

Combat & Ability Trophies

These trophies test your combat prowess and mastery of Jesse Faden's supernatural abilities.

Aggressive Tendencies

Defeat 100 Hiss enemies using the Launch ability. Launch is one of your most versatile powers. To maximize your progress, always be on the lookout for environmental objects (chairs, tables, fire extinguishers, etc.) to hurl at enemies. Even small objects can contribute to this count. Focus on using Launch against weaker Hiss types like the Hiss Charged or Hiss Demonic for quick eliminations.

Psychic Juggernaut

Defeat 100 Hiss enemies using the Shield ability. While Shield is primarily defensive, you can upgrade it to become an offensive tool. The "Shield Rush" ability, unlocked through the Abilities menu, allows you to charge into enemies, dealing damage and often one-shotting weaker Hiss. Combine this with the "Shield Blast" upgrade for even more area-of-effect damage. Remember, you need to defeat them with the Shield, not just damage them.

A Good Offense

Defeat 50 Hiss enemies using the Melee attack. Jesse's melee attack is a powerful close-range option. It's particularly effective against Hiss Charged and Hiss Demonic. After depleting an enemy's health with your Service Weapon, finish them off with a quick melee strike. Upgrading your melee damage in the Abilities menu will make this trophy much easier to obtain.

Side Mission & Miscellaneous Trophies

These trophies involve completing optional content or performing specific actions outside of the main story.

The Enemy Within

Complete 5 Side Missions. Side missions are marked on your map with a distinct icon. Many are offered by FBC personnel you encounter, while others are triggered by interacting with specific Objects of Power or documents. Prioritize completing these as they often reward valuable ability points, crafting materials, and unique mods.

Director of the FBC

Unlock all abilities. This will require a significant investment of Ability Points. You gain Ability Points by completing missions, finding hidden locations, and cleansing Control Points. Focus on unlocking all core abilities first, then work on their upgrades. Some abilities are unlocked through specific main story progression, so ensure you complete the campaign.

Mod Master

Upgrade any Service Weapon form to its maximum level. Each Service Weapon form (Grip, Spin, Pierce, Shatter, Charge) can be upgraded multiple times at a Control Point. You'll need Source and various crafting materials to do this. Focus on one weapon form you use frequently, such as Grip, and gather the necessary resources. You'll find crafting materials by defeating enemies and opening supply crates.
