The Hive Mother is a stationary boss in the Clay Caves. She spawns numerous Larva and other insect minions, and spits corrosive projectiles. Gold or Scarlet armor is highly recommended. Bring a weapon with good area-of-effect damage or a fast attack speed to deal with minions. Prioritize clearing minions as they appear to prevent being overwhelmed. Dodge her projectiles by moving around the arena. Focus damage on the Hive Mother when minions are under control. Collect the Hive Mother's Crown and other unique drops.
