Activating the Core

The Core is the central hub of your underground base and a critical objective for early-game progression. Once you have established your basic crafting infrastructure, including a Workbench and a Furnace, and have begun smelting your initial Copper Bars and Tin Bars, you will be ready to interact with the Core itself. Return to the pulsating Core structure. Upon approaching it, the game will typically present you with a prompt or an interface indicating what is required to activate its first stage. This activation process usually involves placing a specific quantity of smelted bars directly into the Core. For the initial activation, this commonly requires a certain number of Copper Bars and Tin Bars. Carefully follow the on-screen instructions to fulfill the Core's requirements. Successfully activating the Core will have a sificant impact on your surroundings. It will illuminate the immediate area, potentially revealing more of the surrounding environment and nearby resources, and may also trigger other beneficial effects or unlock new gameplay mechanics.
