Basic Controls & Movement

Core Keeper utilizes a familiar and intuitive control scheme for PC players. Movement is handled using the standard WASD keys, allowing for fluid directional control of your character. The primary action button, left-click, serves a dual purpose: it is used for attacking enemies and for interacting with various objects in the environment, such as mining nodes or chests. Right-clicking is typically reserved for using equipped tools or for placing items from your inventory. The mouse scroll wheel is essential for cycling through the items on your hotbar, allowing you to quickly switch between weapons, tools, and consumables. The 'E' key is desated for interacting with specific objects that require a dedicated action, such as opening chests, activating crafting stations like the Workbench or Furnace, or picking up items. Perhaps the most vital mechanic for survival, especially during combat, is the dodge. Activated by pressing the 'Spacebar', dodging allows your character to perform a quick dash, evading incoming attacks and environmental hazards. Mastering the dodge is crucial for avoiding damage from enemies and bosses.
