Ghorm, the colossal worm boss, follows a remarkably predictable movement pattern within the Dirt Biome. He patrols in a consistent, circular path around the outer perimeter of this initial area. You can often detect his approach before visually confirming his presence, as his immense size causes the ground to rumble, producing an audible cue. To locate Ghorm, the most straightforward method is to explore outwards from your starting Core. Continue venturing until you reach the edge of the Dirt Biome, where the terrain typically transitions or ends. Once at this outer ring, begin following the path. Ghorm leaves a distinct trail as he moves, consisting of destructible slime blocks that he breaks through. This trail serves as an excellent indicator of his recent passage and can help guide you towards him. By understanding his circular route and listening for his tell-tale rumbling, you can efficiently track Ghorm and prepare for the encounter. The slime blocks he leaves behind can also be a source of early-game crafting materials.
