Your primary focus should be on acquiring adequate defensive and offensive gear. Aim to craft at least a full set of Copper armor or Tin armor. This will provide a crucial buffer against Glurch's attacks. Complement your armor with a Copper Sword or a Tin Sword for your offensive capabilities. Beyond equipment, consider your consumable resources. Craft a few healing items to replenish your health during the fight. Basic items like Cooked Mushrooms, if you've found the necessary ingredients and a cooking station, or simple Potions can make a sificant difference. Before initiating the boss encounter, take the time to clear out any smaller enemies, such as Slimes or Cavelings, that may have spawned in or around Glurch's arena. These minor threats can distract you and chip away at your health, so their removal is a strategic advantage. Finally, consider placing a few torches around the arena.
