The Hive Mother is stationary but constantly spawns Larva and other insect minions. She also spits corrosive projectiles. Your priority should be to clear out the minions as they appear to prevent being overwhelmed. Use area-of-effect attacks if you have them. When she's not spawning, focus your damage on her. Dodge her projectiles by moving around the arena. Consider placing a few healing campfires or food sources strategically around the arena for quick access during the fight. Scarlet gear is highly recommended for this encounter.
