Crafting the Workbench & Furnace

With a foundational supply of Wood, your next critical step in establishing a base of operations is to craft essential crafting stations. Open your crafting menu, typically accessed by pressing the 'C' key. Here, you will find the recipe for a Workbench. Crafting a Workbench requires a moderate amount of Wood. Once crafted, place the Workbench down in a safe and convenient location. The Workbench serves as the gateway to a sificantly expanded range of crafting recipes, allowing you to create more advanced tools, weapons, armor, and building components. After establishing your Workbench, your attention should turn to metalworking. Using the Copper Ore and Tin Ore you've gathered, you can now craft a Furnace. The Furnace is another vital crafting station, responsible for smelting raw ores into usable metal bars. Place the Furnace in close proximity to your Workbench for efficient workflow. You will then use the Furnace to smelt your Copper Ore into Copper Bars and your Tin Ore into Tin Bars. These smelted bars are indispensable for crafting higher-tier equipment and progressing further into the game.
