Papu Papu is the second boss, racing on a modified version of Papu's Pyramid. His signature attack involves dropping various beakers on the track.

Phases & Attacks:
- Green Beaker Drops: Papu Papu will primarily drop green beakers, which cause you to spin out if you drive over them. He often drops them in clusters, creating minefields.
- Red Beaker Introduction: As the race progresses, he'll occasionally drop a red beaker. Juiced-up red beakers home in on your kart, making them much more dangerous.
- Increased Frequency & Placement: In later laps, the frequency of both green and red beakers increases, and he'll place them more strategically on racing lines or after jumps.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
- Maintain Lead: Similar to Ripper Roo, staying ahead of Papu Papu is your best defense against his beaker traps.
- Precise Steering: You'll need to be very precise with your steering to weave through the clusters of green beakers.
- Anticipate Red Beakers: If you see a red beaker coming, try to swerve sharply to dodge it, or use a Shield if you have one.
- Utilize Shortcuts: Papu's Pyramid has a significant shortcut over the central ramp. Mastering this can give you a crucial lead.
- Consistent Mini-Turbos: Keep chaining triple mini-turbos to maintain your speed and create distance.
- Wumpa Fruit: Collect 10 Wumpa Fruits to juice up your items. A juiced-up Tracking Missile or Bowling Bomb can help you hit Papu Papu and slow him down.
