CTR Challenges become available for each track after you've won its Trophy in Adventure Mode. In this mode, your goal is to finish first while also collecting the letters C, T, and R, which are strategically placed around the track.
Strategy:
- Prioritize Winning: You still need to finish in 1st place. If you collect all letters but don't win, you fail.
- Memorize Letter Locations: The letters are often placed off the main racing line or in shortcuts. You'll need to learn their exact positions.
- Plan Your Route: Sometimes collecting a letter might force you to take a less optimal path, costing you time. You need to balance collecting the letters with maintaining speed.
- Practice: This mode often requires multiple attempts. Don't be afraid to restart if you miss a letter or fall too far behind.
- Use Shortcuts: Many letters are placed near or within shortcuts, encouraging you to master them.
Successfully completing a CTR Challenge earns you a CTR Token for that track. These tokens are essential for unlocking Gem Cups in Adventure Mode.
