Game Modes Overview

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled offers several game modes to keep you entertained, from the classic Adventure Mode to competitive online races. Each mode provides a unique challenge and experience.

Adventure Mode

This is the main single-player campaign, where you race against Nitros Oxide to save the planet. It features a story, boss battles, and unlocks. You'll need to collect Trophies, CTR Tokens, Relics, and Gems to progress. There are two difficulties: Classic and Nitro-Fueled. Classic mode restricts character choice and kart customization, while Nitro-Fueled allows full customization and character selection.

Local Arcade

Play with friends locally in various race types:

• Single Race: Choose any track and character for a quick race.
• Cup Race: Compete in a series of four tracks, earning points based on your finishing position.
• Time Trial: Race against the clock to set the fastest lap and overall times.
• Relic Race: Race against the clock, hitting time crates to freeze the timer and earn Relics.
• CTR Challenge: Collect the letters C, T, and R hidden on the track while finishing first.
• Crystal Challenge: Collect all crystals in an arena before time runs out.
• Battle Mode: Engage in combat with up to four players in dedicated battle arenas.

Online Matchmaking

Compete against players from around the world in various race types. This is where you can test your skills against the best and climb the leaderboards.

Each mode offers different rewards and challenges, so explore them all to get the most out of your CTR Nitro-Fueled experience. Adventure Mode is an excellent starting point to learn the tracks and mechanics before diving into competitive online play.
